Windswept has a solid quarter inch thick fiberglass hull. with her fin keel and lead ballast she can turn on a dime and make great way to windward. I have often had her sailing at 7.2 knots and once had her upto 9 knots. I have used her as a working boat so she could use some tender loving care and is not in tip top condition. under poser she can make almost 6 knots with a reliable Yamaha 8hp extra long shaft outboard with electric start and power tilt.
